Pictures do change our perception and thoughts about an event or situation often misleading and guided by our own history, experience, culture and upbringing.
We can be moved, inspired or outraged by what we see in an image,
“it didnt happen on the field” inspired me to start working on a series of images depicting bruising and cuts to document what seems to be a sport related injury or perhaps domestic violence , subtle smiles frowns and expression even the clothes we wear can alter the mood and perception of the story.
